MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS LIVE STREAM FREE TV on Sunday live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The 2011 MTV VMAs will take place on August 28, an award presented by the cable channel MTV to honor the best in music videos. Katy Perry received the most nominations this year at ten, followed by Adele and Kanye West, who are both tied at seven. There will be no host in the MTV Video Music Awards 2011.

MTV president Steven Friedman said in a statement, "We are thrilled to return to Los Angeles where the energy of the city will help power the creative spirit of the 28th annual VMAs. The city is the perfect backdrop for all the musical moments, mayhem and magic that make the VMAs such a notorious celebration." On August 11, 2011, it was stated in a promo that there would be a tribute to Britney Spears during the ceremony.
