The UEFA Champions League features another interesting match up with FC Barcelona vs FC BATE Borisov with live stream from Dinamo Stadion, Minsk, Belarus on September 28 (20:45 CET).
FC BATE Borisov will try to upset FC Barcelona
Barcelona
will be playing away from home and visits FC Bate for their second game
in the 2011 UEFA Champions League group match. The Catalans will have
their hands full against Bate as injuries sidelined some of their key
players in Wednesday’s night match. Barca’s midfielder Andres Iniesta,
Ibrahim Afellay and defender Gerard Pique will be out of the match with
hamstring injuries. However, Cesc Fabregas has been playing well for the
Catalans since his transfer from Arsenal at the start of the season.
Barcelona has been unbeaten since April 30 with 16 matches won that netted 31 goals in nine fixtures for this season. Lionel Messi
has doing his magic at the forefront of Barca’s offense. The
Argentinian striker collected his second Liga hat-trick in three games
after their 8-0 conquest of CA Osasuna. Coach Josep Guardiola’s team
manhandled Club Atletico de Madrid with a 5-0 victory on weekend.
FC Bate is
upset-conscious with their match up against the Catalans. Coach Viktor
Goncharenko will try to dig deeper into his team to come out with
a competitive lineup to match against Barca. The loss of their striker
Vitali Rodionov to knee injury has limited Bate’s offensive set against a
strong Barcelona defense. The offensive responsibility will fall into
the shoulder of Serbian striker Mateja Kezman. Goncharenko will probably
put his cards on defense to slow down the Catalan’s juggernaut. Bate’s
should be able to control the midfield to play toe-to-toe against Barca.
